Goal: Raise Critical Funds for A Journey Home Campus

On July 31st, Family Promise of Gallatin Valley (FPGV)  purchased a comprehensive Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing campus. This campus will serve as an emergency shelter, transitional housing, and will add workforce housing to our family of services. A Journey Home will provide a space for classes, a resource center, and so much more.

Who We Are

FPGV opened our doors in 2007 and our commitment to serving children and families experiencing homelessness has remained singularly focused and unwavering. Within FPGV shelter, prevention, and stabilization programs, we provide comprehensive wrap-around services to ensure family homelessness is brief and non-recurring.

Over the last 17 years, the number of families receiving services increased 4,725%. FPGV scaled shelter services, developed innovative programming, and increased staff size from 4 to 35. Despite this expansion, the significant increase in needs in our community is not being met. Each week, FPGV receives between 5-10 calls from families seeking services. We need additional space to provide services for every child and families who seek our help.

Vision

Our vision is that family homelessness is brief and non-recurring. To achieve this goal, it is incumbent upon our community to provide safe and healthy living spaces for families who are on a path to self-sufficiency. We must create a campus where the realization of goal setting and attainment is prioritized and the commitment to success is shared among all.

"Family Promise is not a handout, it is a long-term solution for generational economic hardships."
