A family of four with two children working hard each day at our local elementary schools to learn their ABC’s.
A single father working tirelessly to provide for his family on one income that just doesn’t pay all the bills.
Homelessness to us looks like a family. Families are the fastest growing population of homeless TODAY. Homelessness no longer just looks like the homeless man outside of Wal-Mart, the Vietnam vet in Detroit or the panhandler on the interstate.
Homelessness is our families who are working so hard to regain their independence. At Family Promise we are here to give them a hand-up, not a hand-out.
