Ray arrived in Bozeman from Hawaii in 1986 after retiring from 22 years in the Air Force. He had a second career as a flight instructor, charter pilot, and corporate pilot. He has been active in the community serving on the Board of Directors of the Humane Society, a member of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee at MSU, and a docent and reenactor for the Museum of the Rockies. Ray is an active member of Saint James Episcopal Church, and serves in a variety of outreach programs. • Current term ends January 2010. |

Jerry Meek, Vice President |

Drawing on his thirty years owning a strategic marketing firm that works with philanthropic organizations, Jerry was moved to help build community here in Bozeman, especially by helping those who most need it. Although he had come to Bozeman for many years for business and pleasure, he and his wife and daughter moved here only in 2004, but have become quickly committed to our uniquely wonderful community. Jerry's company, Fifth Street Design, is a member of the Chamber, and he is an active member of St. James Episcopal Church where he serves on the vestry,• Current term ends January 2011. |

Amanda Cater, Secretary |

A long time resident of Bozeman, Amanda has made housing the focus of her volunteer efforts in the community, serving on the Board of Habitat for Humanity for nine years, serving coffee at His Soup, and working as a regular volunteer at the Habitat construction site. She also serves on the City Affordable Housing Advisory Board. Amanda believes that having shelter is essential for the success of any family and is delighted to work with Family Promise.• Current term ends January 2010. |

Garry is a native Montanan, born and raised in Northeastern Montana. He moved to Bozeman in 1971 to complete my Masters degree at MSU and never left. He has been in public accounting since 1972 and is currently a partner in the firm of Galusha, Higgins & Galusha, PC. Garry served on the board of Bozeman Shelter Care for several years.• Current term ends January 2009. |

Marcella Babineaux |

Marcella moved to Bozeman in 2002 from Port Arthur, Texas, after visiting her daughter here for several years. Her appreciation of Bozeman has moved Marcella to give back to her new home though community work. She is a Council Member at Unity Church of Bozeman. As recording Secretary of the Board of Gallatin Valley Interfaith Association, Marcella became familiar with and eager to support Family Promise. She looks forward to being part of a successful program providing shelter & opportunities for homeless families.• Current term ends January 2011. |

Orville L. Erlenbush |

A native of Baker, Montana, Orville used his Business Management degree from the University of Montana, to start his banking career in Plentywood in 1977. Orville has since worked with the Montana Bancsystem, First Security Bank and Lutheran Brotherhood (now Thrivent Financial). Orville now works for ERA Landmark Real Estate, owned by his wife, Robyn, also from Baker. Orville and Robyn have a 20-year-old son, Alex, at Arizona State University. Orville is very excited to be on the Board for such a great and worthy organization as Family Promise of Gallatin Valley. • Current term ends January 2010. |

Aimee Gerharter |

Aimee Andren Gerharter was born in Bozeman and has spent most of her life in Montana. She completed her college education in the field of Social Work at New Mexico State University, spending the following ten years working with adolescents. Aimee currently owns two local coffee shops called “Wild Joe’s,” yet continues to help the less fortunate by offering and promoting only fair trade coffee and retail items, as well as through Family Promise. Her only greater passions are her two children, Jessica and Alex, and husband, Dan. She supports a variety of local and worldwide non-profit organizations, and is very proud to have been invited on to the board of Family Promise. • Current term ends January 2010. |

Bruce Gerlach |

Bruce moved here in 1969 after four years in the US Air Force, including one year in Viet Nam. A graduate of Montana State University, he began his successful banking career with First Security Bank in 1972 where he serves today as Executive Vice President. Bruce has been actively committed to serving the community with six years on the Bozeman School Board (School District #7), nine years on the board of Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, and 15 years on the board of Bozeman Shelter Care, Inc. He is President of the board of Alcohol & Drug Services of Gallatin County (ADSGC) and is a member of the Sunrise Rotary Club. He and his wife Nancy are members of Bozeman United Methodist church. • Current term ends January 2009. |

Roxanne Klingensmith |

Born and raised in Minnesota, Roxanne has lived in Bozeman since 1981. With a diverse wealth of experience — junior high teacher to welfare-to-work case manager — she has long been actively involved with social justice issues, individually and with local organizations. Roxanne was ordained to the diaconate in 1999, and serves as the Deacon at St. James Episcopal Church and as the Archdeacon of the Episcopal Diocese of Montana. Roxanne was one of the key individuals in the formation of our local Family Promise, and is a source of heart and hope to all.• Current term ends January 2009. |

John H. “Buzz” Tarlow is a member of the Bozeman, Montana law firm of
Tarlow Stonecipher & Steele
, PLLC. Buzz received his B.A. with distinction in Economics, cum laude, from the University of Connecticut and his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law. He in active in our community as: board member/former president of Greater Gallatin United Way; founding member of the Gallatin County Chapter of MADD; former president of the Help Center, and cub scout leader/assistant scoutmaster for the Montana Council of the Boy Scouts. He actively participates in several pro bono legal service projects including the Gallatin County Guardian Ad Litem program. Most importantly, he is husband to his wife of 23 years, Holly, and father to two children.• Current term ends January 2011.
