What a night! The 10th Annual Cardboard Box City was a ton of fun and we appreciate all those who came out, braved the cold and rain, and learned more about family homelessness in our Valley. We packed the Pavilion at Bogert Park and there was energy, empathy, and community spirit in the air! The slogan Children Deserve a Safe and Stable Home Full of Love was voted ‘best slogan’ by our panel of judges, and Family Promise will use this next year as we continue to promote awareness within our community and support homeless families in need. Congrats to the youth group from Unitarian Universalists on your vote as most creative box. Another congratulations goes out to the First Presbyterian youth group for raising the most money. As we continue to compile pictures, we’ll be sure to share more in future Friday Updates.

Thank you to the many youth groups and families who participated in the 10th Annual Cardboard Box City event.
